TCS Opens Google Cloud Gemini Experience Centre in Bengaluru for BFSI Sector
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated a Google Cloud Gemini Experience Centre at its Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) Innovation Lab in Bengaluru.
The facility will enable financial institutions to explore AI capabilities, co-create solutions, and prototype applications by combining the company’s domain expertise with Google Cloud technologies.
The initiative focuses on building agentic AI-powered solutions to enhance agility, regulatory compliance, personalisation, and operational efficiency in the BFSI sector. Customers will be able to leverage Google Cloud’s Gemini models, Agentspace technologies, and TCS’s AI platforms.
Victor Morales, vice president, global system integrators partnerships, Google Cloud, said, “By combining Google Cloud’s innovative technologies with TCS’s deep industry expertise, we are enabling BFSI customers to accelerate digital transformation, enhance customer experiences, and drive operational efficiencies through cutting-edge AI-driven solutions.”
Through the centre, financial institutions can experiment with AI-powered contact centre agents for real-time call guidance, sentiment analysis, and business insights. They can also streamline software development processes across requirement gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
Meanwhile, Susheel Vasudevan, president, BFSI Americas at TCS, said their collaboration with Google Cloud offers a robust platform for BFSI enterprises to innovate at scale and adopt advanced AI capabilities.
“As BFSI firms increasingly look to integrate human expertise with AI agents, our deep domain and AI-led engineering capabilities will help deliver high-value solutions across customer servicing, business decision workflows and back-office operations,” Vasudevan said.
Clients will also have access to the TCS BaNCS suite on Google Cloud, supporting integrated banking decisions and personalised experiences across touchpoints. TCS and Google plan to extend these offerings to other TCS innovation hubs globally, starting with TCS Pace Port London later this year.
Earlier this year, TCS received five Google Cloud Partner of the Year awards in financial services, insurance, AI, data and analytics, application development, and talent development in APAC. The company works with the top 10 global BFSI clients and others worldwide on digital transformation initiatives.
