Bengaluru’s Aimtron Electronics Raises ₹100 Crore for Greenfield Manufacturing Facility
Aimtron Electronics Limited, headquartered in Chicago, has raised nearly ₹100 crore through the issue of convertible warrants to fund a new greenfield manufacturing facility in India. The preferential allotment, approved by the board of directors, includes participation from the promoter group.
This comprises Mukesh Vasani (Aimtron CEO) and Nirmal Vasani (Aimtron COO), as well as several marquee investors. The company has issued up to 14,79,000 warrants priced at ₹666 each.
These are convertible into equity shares with a face value of ₹10 and a premium of ₹656, totalling ₹98.5 crore.
“This fundraiser accelerates our already above-average growth trajectory by enabling the creation of a future-ready manufacturing ecosystem,” said Mukesh. “This new facility will empower us to innovate, scale, and compete at a global level.”
Capacity and Capability
Aimtron plans to use the capital to establish a greenfield electronics manufacturing unit on 3 acres of land. The facility will support its system-level integration and box-build business, aiming to achieve ₹1000 crore in revenue.
It will feature up to five advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines and full-scale end-to-end assembly units. The company’s move aligns with India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ missions, contributing to the vision of a self-reliant and globally competitive manufacturing landscape.
According to Nirmal, “There is a growing global shift toward value-added manufacturing from India, and Aimtron is at the forefront of this momentum.”
The facility aims to reduce lead times, manage high volumes, and offer end-to-end electronic manufacturing solutions under one roof.
The company is also targeting expansion into high-growth verticals such as aerospace, defence, telecom, IoT, and AI-driven applications. These plans will be supported by the new infrastructure and its engineering teams across India.
Founded in 2011, Aimtron has operations in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru, and a parent company based in Chicago. The company offers EMS, PCB assembly, and design services for sectors including medtech, automotive, power, gaming, and industrial robotics.
