Hexaware Technologies announced a new partnership with Fixie.ai on Tuesday to enhance voice-powered enterprise operations. 

As part of the collaboration, Hexaware will adopt Fixie’s Ultravox Realtime platform to deliver quicker, more natural voice-based customer experiences across industries.

Ultravox Realtime offers accurate voice recognition and can handle thousands of simultaneous calls, making it a strong fit for high-demand environments. 

Hexaware will use this platform to improve customer engagement by enabling faster and more responsive voice interactions, especially during peak hours or in multilingual settings.

“Our partnership with Fixie will enable them to access larger enterprise requirements across industries while enhancing our ability to simplify enterprise AI adoption for our clients,” Vinod Chandran, chief operations officer at Hexaware said. 

The company said Ultravox Realtime is designed with developers in mind, emphasising accuracy, security, and scalability. “It is ideally suited for the high-volume, integrated deployments that clients require,” Chandran said.  

This collaboration allows them to provide voice experiences and facilitates quicker responses, particularly during peak times and multilingual contexts.

The partnership also includes Hexaware’s support for Fixie’s open-source initiatives. Hexaware is donating GPU computing power to help train future versions of the Ultravox platform, which aims to benefit the wider AI community and enterprise users alike.

The company noted its commitment to open-source model development through GPU donation, demonstrating a shared vision for advancing open-source voice AI technology while delivering immediate value to enterprise customers. 

Joint projects are already underway in sectors including banking, insurance, retail, travel, and healthcare, with more deployments expected in the coming months.
