Infosys Launches Agentic AI Foundry to Boost Enterprise AI Adoption
Infosys today launched the Agentic AI Foundry, a new solution under its Infosys Topaz suite. The foundry is aimed at helping businesses build and deploy AI agents quickly and responsibly, with a focus on real-world use and long-term innovation.
The Agentic AI Foundry is designed to make it easier for companies to use AI across different parts of their operations—from customer service to finance and IT—by offering pre-built AI tools that can be customised and scaled. These AI agents can be used on in-house systems or third-party platforms, offering flexibility and faster deployment.
In simple terms, the foundry helps businesses get started with AI and scale it safely, without being locked into specific technologies. Infosys says it will help companies make faster decisions, offer better customer experiences, and improve efficiency.
“Infosys Agentic AI Foundry is a game-changer in enterprise transformation, providing a clear, ethical, and future-ready pathway to harness AI’s full potential. By seamlessly integrating AI agents across ecosystems, we are enabling businesses to innovate faster, operate smarter, and lead with purpose in an evolving digital world, ” Balakrishna DR (Bali), executive vice president, global services head, AI and industry verticals, Infosys, said.
Infosys has already used the foundry internally. For example, its finance team uses AI agents to automate invoice processing, improving productivity by over 50% and cutting costs. For clients, the results have been equally strong—support times were cut by 50% and customer satisfaction went up by 24% at a tech company that used Infosys’ deep research agent. Another service firm automated its financial audits, improving accuracy and speeding up document checks.Phil Fersht, CEO and chief analyst at HFS Research, commented, “The line between human capabilities and AI-powered software is rapidly blurring and its impact on IT and business services is going to be profound.”
