The Madhya Pradesh Tech Growth Conclave 2025, held at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore on Monday, has led to investment commitments worth ₹20,000 crore and the creation of 75,000 new jobs. Organised just 60 days after the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, the one-day event aimed to turn earlier investment intentions into real projects on the ground.

The conclave was led by the state CM Mohan Yadav and the department of science and technology. Over 600 industry leaders, investors, academics, and startup founders attended the event.

“We are declaring 2025 as the ‘year of industry and employment’,” said Yadav. He reaffirmed Madhya Pradesh’s goal of becoming a major contributor to the central government’s Vision 2047 and building a digitally advanced, investor-friendly state.

The event marked the laying of the foundation stone for the ₹500 crore CtrlS Data Centre and the ₹1,000 crore Panchshil Infra IT Campus in Indore. Together, these two projects are expected to create about 15,200 jobs. Other projects that were launched included the BEL Centre of Excellence, the Jabalpur IT Park, and the Cast NX ESDM facility in Dewas.

In addition, the government announced the launch of new initiatives like the SpaceTech and Innovation Policy, the MP-CERT Cyber Security Excellence Centre, and the 209-acre EMC 2.0 manufacturing cluster in Bhopal, aimed at attracting ₹1,500 crore in investments.

Meanwhile, investment proposals worth ₹2,815 crore were grounded during the conclave, creating 27,760 jobs. Of this, ₹1,696 crore was in the technology sector alone. One-on-one meetings between business leaders and the chief minister generated fresh investment proposals of ₹5,500 crore from the IT sector (32,000 jobs) and ₹10,500 crore from other sectors (18,000 jobs).

Key industry leaders such as Atul Chordia (Chordia Group), Manoj Jain (BEL), Sanjeev Kumar Gupta (KDEM), Sunil Gupta (Yotta), Siddharth Reddy (CtrlS Datacenters), and others shared their views on how Madhya Pradesh could attract global investment.

The event also saw the announcement of the Madhya Pradesh Technology Advisory Committee, which includes top names like Mohandas Pai, Ajay Chowdhry and others.

Besides, some strategic MoUs were signed at the event, including agreements for a Drone Centre of Excellence with IISER Bhopal and a partnership with the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering.

Other upcoming initiatives announced include the Indian Institute of Creative Technology’s regional centres in Bhopal and Indore, an AgriTech Incubation Centre of Excellence with IIT Indore, a new IT Park Tower in Bhopal, and several digital governance portals.

Somveda Enterprises, Bharat Electronics Limited, Panchshil Realty, and Infobeans submitted investment proposals during the event, promising a future wave of job creation.
