Emids, a leading digital transformation partner for healthcare and life sciences, has named Abhishek Shankar as its new CEO. This leadership change marks a crucial step in the company’s 26-year journey, reinforcing its focus on AI-driven transformation

Shankar brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare and technology innovation. He previously served as President of the Communications Business, Americas at Tech Mahindra, where he spearheaded large-scale digital transformation projects. Before that, as Senior Vice President at HCL, he led the Technology and Life Sciences Americas business, driving data-driven healthcare solutions.

“The rapid evolution of digital solutions in recent years has created an unprecedented opportunity for transformation in the healthcare and life sciences industries,” said Shankar. “Emids is strongly positioned to guide organisations through this frontier, particularly as AI revolutionises healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.”

Under his leadership, Emids will strengthen its AI, interoperability, and cloud-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. Founder and Chairman Saurabh Sinha expressed confidence in Shankar’s ability to drive Emids’ mission forward.
