Cloudflare, a leading connectivity cloud company, has recently expanded its suite of security tools by introducing three new offerings to safeguard how companies employ AI in their business processes.

The first of these tools, the LLM Firewall, is a novel layer of protection that operates automatically to detect and prevent abuse and attacks on LLMs before they can cause harm. This positions Cloudflare as one of the select security providers capable of countering attacks that specifically target the functionality and sensitive data within LLMs.

The second tool, Defensive AI, takes a personalised approach to security by analysing an organisation’s traffic patterns to help shift the cybersecurity balance in favour of defenders. It employs newly developed machine learning models to identify and block sophisticated Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks, recognised as the primary threat vector, and mitigate employee internal threats.

Additionally, Cloudflare has unveiled an AI Assistant built on Workers AI, now accessible to all business and enterprise customers. This assistant provides security analytics teams with rapid, tailored insights into their codebases, enhancing their ability to respond to security challenges swiftly and effectively.

These new tools reflect Cloudflare’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI security. They offer companies, have the means to explore and leverage advanced technologies for transformative solutions without compromising on security. Cloudflare’s connectivity cloud delivers a full-featured, unified platform of cloud-native products and developer tools. It enables organisations to gain the control necessary to work, develop, and accelerate their business. With one of the world’s largest and most interconnected networks, Cloudflare blocks billions of threats online every day for its customers, earning the trust of millions of organisations worldwide, from prominent brands to small businesses and government entities.
