Microsoft Flight Simulator has arrived on Xbox One
Microsoft announced that Flight Simulator has finally launched on Xbox One Cloud Gaming. Microsoft’s cloud platform allows subscribers to stream Xbox games on a range of devices like Xbox One. Microsoft Flight Simulator initially launched on PC in 2020 and then arrived on Xbox Series X/S consoles after a few months. Microsoft has made the announcement as a part of its first batch of Game Pass additions.
The Flight Simulator has been added to the cloud after Microsoft upgraded its Xbox Series X hardware. The hardware now offers 1080p and bandwidth of 60fps across the service. The game’s multiplayer feature remains the same, so multiple gamers can play it on PC, Xbox and cloud. Microsoft has also added Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Young Souls to Xbox Game Pass starting from March 10.
Microsoft Flight Simulator needs storage of nearly 100 GB, but all Game Pass subscribers can stream the game on devices that support Xbox Cloud Gaming like phones, tablets, PCs and Series X/S.
Microsoft has also updated the Xbox PC app with new features. PC gamers can now install games in custom folders. Prior to this, gamers could only choose between drives. The upgrade also supports open-file access, which allows gamers to install mods. Also, game installations can be repaired and moved instead of gamers having to reinstall.
