Atlassian Corporation Plc has come 19th in India in a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute. The ranking was based on responses from employees and the employer support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In April, the company announced it would hire around 1,000 R&D engineers globally, of which 300 would be from India, making it one of the biggest recruitment drives in 2021.

The new recruits would start at Atlassian’s world-class R&D centre in Bengaluru. The centre already has 700 engineers. The company has launched a Candidate Resource Hub to help prospective candidates prepare for interviews.

Amid the pandemic, Atlassian has adopted a distributed work model and is also building on its employee benefits such as increased mental health support and access to expert resources, special leave, and additional resilience workshops for staff.  The firm has also announced a USD$500 stipend for staff to create an optimal workspace.
